Women’s Volleyball NCAA Final Four 2023: Predictions
This is one of the most competitive women’s college volleyball tournaments in recent memory and all four teams have a chance at taking home the title. College volleyball has also never been more popular. Case in point: More than 92,000 fans packed a football stadium earlier this year to watch Nebraska vs. Omaha, setting a world record for largest attendance at a women’s sporting event. Yes, the Cornhuskers’ volleyball match had even more fans in the stands than the Women’s World Cup.
Nebraska is making its 17th appearance in the final four, with the Huskers having won five titles. Their team is a favorite to make another trip to the title match. Wisconsin is heavily favored to actually win the overall tournament though, with oddsmakers giving the Badgers a slight edge to take home their second title.
Texas is making its 16th trip and looking for a repeat title after beating Louisville in the final last year. Pittsburgh has not won a championship in three semifinal appearances.
This is the D1 Women’s Volleyball Final. Cal State LA won the 2023 DII Women’s Volleyball National Championship last month, after taking down West Texas A&M in the title match.
